Turkey Day and Christmas Tree Shopping

Our first Thanksgiving as a family was wonderful! And definitely very satisfying in the food department. We headed over to Grammy’s house around noon and started cooking away. Meanwhile, William bounced from the laps of Grammy, Daddy, Uncle Jamie, Great Gram and Great Grandpa – oh and two friends of Uncle Jamie’s too – Kassy and Tony. It was a great day filled with lots of great food, wonderful company and so many amazing (little baby-like, ahem, William!) things to be thankful for!

My handsome boys.

Great Gram!

Happy Thanksgiving, from the Spillanes!

Me and my boy.

One of my favorite things to do: get the Christmas tree! We ventured down 724 and happened upon a promising Christmas Trees – this way! -> sign, so we followed it and were delightfully brought to a little tree farm literally right off the road and on someone’s front yard. Best thing about it: CHEAP! We searched out our perfect tree and found it – quicker than an anticipated. We’ll definitely be going back there again next year. William enjoyed his first tree-hunting experience so much, that he slept through the whole thing…
